Fiber holder UCL Swift HS-250
HS250 (Fiber Holder 250µm)
Intended Use: Designed to handle standard 250 micron primary coating (acrylate) fiber (typically distribution cable or loose tube fiber).
Function: Firmly holds the thin fiber to ensure precise stripping, cleaning, cleaving and splicing in the various modules of the machine.
Fiber Selection
You use the holder that matches the thickness of the fiber you are currently working with.
Example of “mixed” use: If you are splicing standard cable fiber (250µm) to pigtail (900µm), then you would place the HS250 on one side of the splicer and the HS900 on the other side.
Example of “same” use: If you are splicing two fibers of the same type (for example two 250µm fibers for a route extension), you will need two HS250.
Compatible with K33, K33A, K33A-HDC, K11, K7, KF4, KF4A, KF4A-HDC splicers
